It’s funny how that’s happened! I didn’t realize it right away, but when I look back now it’s always been a place of pause right before a big, new thing. It’s where I’ve been between years of school, during fresh breakups, during COVID, before starting new jobs… Now I really appreciate having this safe, positive space away from “regular life” to re-calibrate.
